Fusion Bracelet...$50!

-->
When I first joined up with Noonday, this bracelet was my first big splurge and I was SO EXCITED to get my hands on it. I love the color, that it’s tone actually makes me appear tanner than I really am, I love the snaps that fasten it together, and I love how heavy and cool it is against my skin when I wear it. All the tiny beads are made from upcycled metal and artillery by artisans in Ethiopia (See more details here on the entries for similar pieces like the Danica Necklace or Beza Charm Necklace).
I would call this bracelet my “gateway piece” for Noonday Collection.  It was my favorite to wear(for all the obvious reasons) and I found myself sharing the story over and over when I was out and about town. This bracelet is sure to be a favorite for you as it has been for me, and I am sure you will be just as excited to share it’s story as I have been!

What I wore: February 13

It's been cold around here lately. (For a California girl, at least!) For me, that means lots of layers. And because I don't normally have to layer heavily, that means wearing lots of black, because it matches!
My favorite way to bring life to these dark ensembles? Noonday scarves, of course!
Here's a couple of my favorites:

Nod to neon:
Coat: O'neill
Dress: Target
Leggings: Target
Boots: Sudini
Scarf: Noonday Collection

Fall colors:
Black pea coat: Mossimo for Target
Mustard colored top: Target as well... There's definitely a pattern here!
This was also paired with a black skirt from Gap, black tights, and my favorite black boots!
Mukisa necklace from Noonday Collection

Bright colors:
Same black pea coat, layered over a black sun dress and a black long sleeved sweater. But brightened up by my amethyst scarf and Bengali sunset earrings, so fun for a quick date last night!

Next step is the driver's license!!

No training wheels. I don't know who's more proud: Hannah, or Micah!

Embrace the camera: January 24

I love my little kitchen helper! Here our little hands trying out a recipe for Tuscan bread. She loved the flour mess and kneading the dough, and I loved the way the house smelled as it baked!
One lesson learned: do mother-daughter manicures AFTER baking bread. Oopsy.

Embrace the camera: January 17

Someone has been sick this week... So sad!
Don't get me wrong, I love the cuddles and watching movies and stuff, but I am really ready for the whining to stop! I want my happy silly girl back!

Thank God for simple pleasures.

"Mom, I'm gonna watch the rice cook!" And she did.

Make it happen Monday: post-it notes

Sometimes when it's really important, I need post-it notes to get my booty out of bed on time. Today was one of those days :)
